We are trying to be normal.
Pool.
Errands.
Car washes.
Library.
Farmers market.
Movies.
Games.
Books.
Pancakes for breakfast.
But it feels unbalanced.
Unreal.
Strange to count heads and come up one short.
To turn and look for a kid who isn't there.
I just feel off.
(((hug)))

ReplyDeleteI haven't posted much (if anything) here or on facebook because I don't know what to say. Just know that you are on my mind and in my heart constantly and that you and your family are amazing and I love you all.
ReplyDeleteLike a tripod without a leg. Well, then it would be a quadpod I guess.
ReplyDeleteJust keep at it...as you've said, it's a new normal. A temporary new normal.

Hope you can feel our love!
ReplyDeleteThe whole Engel family is praying for you. You are all in hearts!
ReplyDeleteYour family is the basis of your normal. It is off right now. I continue to pray for all of you for healing, for normal, for the ease of the everyday.
ReplyDeletezillion hugs!
ReplyDeletePrayers and hugs! Please let us know if we can help with anything! Even if we can entertain Yael for a few hours-(Gabe has been asking for a play date with her) Planning our super hero photo shoot!
ReplyDeleteI understand!
ReplyDeleteJust remember, there is NO such thing as normal.
We (my little Berliner clan) love you all. Hang in there.
Doing ordinary things with your other kids is extremely important, because they and you are.
